MEICA Technical Services, the Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation division of Lancashire-based monitoring specialists, Detectronic, has moved into a new office in the Witney Business & Innovation Centre.
Following a period of rapid and strategic growth, the move to new premises will enable the MEICA Technical Services team to recruit additional engineers and expand the company’s forward order book.
Commenting on the development, Steve Stone, technical director for MEICA Technical Services said: “We launched the MEICA Technical Services division back in October 2016 and since then have recorded 100% sales growth, gained NICEIC accreditation and achieved approved contractor status with a number of key customers.
“Beginning with local and regional projects, we’ve capitalised on numerous commercial opportunities that have arisen, created new business and established a loyal, national customer base that includes both public and private sector organisations.”
Continues Steve: “Moving to this new office will enable us to take on new people and give us greater access to our existing clients as well as approaching new prospects. It will also open up both fresh business development opportunities and a new pool of regional engineering talent for us to tap into.”
Concludes Steve Woods, managing director for Detectronic: “Having a bigger office in Oxfordshire will further enhance the overall capacity of the MEICA Technical Services team and support our ambitious plans for sustained expansion and job creation over the next few years.”
