MEICA Technical Services has been awarded a contract to deliver maintenance for a number of wastewater, sewage pumping stations and sewage treatment works on behalf of a large service and utility company working in the UK defence industry.
The work the MEICA Technical Services team is carrying out includes monthly, quarterly, annual and bi-annual mechanical & electrical tasks such as site checks, security checks, LV inspections, control panel inspections and pump & instrumentation maintenance.
Explains Steve Stone, director of MEICA Technical Services: “We’ve worked with this particular client for a couple of years now and, as such, we fully understand their internal compliance requirements. As a result of our proactive, as well as reactive, way of working we have become a trusted supplier.
“We have a list of 180 maintenance tasks that need fulfilling and we’ve already completed 120. And, since we began work on these tasks, we have already flagged up and prevented several other issues before they have even arisen. It is always our aim to fully support our clients by working as an extension to their existing team and exceeding expectations wherever we can.”
Concludes the operations manager for the service and utility company that has appointed MEICA Technical Services: “In February, we achieved the highest overall performance for maintenance tasks since tracking started. MEICA Technical Services are delivering an excellent maintenance performance which equates to 100% corrective, 100% reactive and 93% preventative completion rates.”
