The team has won a contract to deliver electrical design support for the £1.8 million refurbishment of a strategic sewage treatment works in Wiltshire.
The sewage treatment works handles wastewater produced the local area’s 8,000 inhabitants. It represents one of many infrastructures being upgraded to further improve the efficiency of the region’s wastewater management.
Outlines Steve Stone, director of MEICA Technical Services: “We have been appointed to provide electrical design support to the main client. Work will include reviewing the contractor’s proposed SLDs, BCDs, cable calculations, MCC schematics, control philosophies and integration of the new equipment with the existing plant.”
