MEICA Technical Services has recently completed two chemical dosing projects for global design and delivery firm, Stantec on behalf of their water and natural resources division, MWH.

Covering two different sewage treatment plants, the MEICA Technical Services team installed and commissioned kiosks and tanks associated with the ferric alkalinity and ferric dosing systems required by each plant.

Outlines Steve Stone, director of MEICA Technical Services: “We were tasked with fitting all electrical panels and electrical cabling in each of the kiosks on site as well as constructing the necessary mechanical pipework and steelwork for the tanks that contain ferric sulphate used in wastewater treatment.”

Adds Steve: “Once we had completed the mechanical and electrical work, we trained a several of the sewage treatment works staff to ensure they have all the necessary skills and knowledge demanded to operate the specific chemical dosing systems.”
